What does Vidi Vici mean?
Vidi Vici Weddings & Events originated from "Veni, Vidi, Vici" [ven-ee vee-dee vee-chee] which is a Latin phrase meaning "I came, I saw, I conquered.". This phrase is well known for being uttered by the infamous Julius Caesar in a message sent home to the Roman Senate after coming out victorious in the Battle of Zela in 47 BC.
Today, the phrase is more commonly used in art, music, poetry, and other forms of entertainment, refering to a swift and conclusive victory.

A letter from our Founder
Dear Past, Present, and Potential Clients,
Hi! My name is Janelle Hamood and I am the Founder and President of Vidi Vici Weddings & Events. Just as I enjoy learning things about my clients, I'm sure you would like to get to know your event planner! So, let me tell you a little about myself:
I am twenty-three years old and have been planning weddings and events professionally for three years. I started event planning as the Philanthropy Chairman and Membership Director of Phi Mu Fraternity at The University of Michigan- Dearborn. Event Planning has not only become my job, but my favorite hobby. Other things I enjoy to do in my free time are watch football in my pajamas, listen to my endless Spotify playlists, consume caffeine, and shop 'til I drop!
I am very passionate about planning events for my clients and hope you will give us the chance to have Vidi Vici service your event!
